OBJECTIONS, VERIFICATIONS & PROPERTY INCLUSIONS
The BCM General Valuation Roll was made available for public inspection from 20th February 2009 for a minimum period of 30 days. Any person may lodge an objection against any matter reflected in the Valuation Roll. An objection MUST however be in relation to a specific individual property and NOT against the GV Roll as such.
1. WHAT TO DO IF MY PROPERTY IS NOT ON THE GENERAL VALUATION ROLL?
If your property is NOT on the BCM GV Roll, kindly complete a Property INCLUSION Form. Inclusion Forms can be collected or submitted at ANY inspection and objection venue; faxed to (043) 7220242 or e-mailed to info@valueMe.co.za

2. WHAT TO DO IF ANY PROPERTY DETAILS IS INCORRECTLY REFLECTED ON THE GENERAL VALUATION ROLL?
To ensure that property details are correctly reflected in the BCM GV Roll, kindly complete a Property VERIFICATION Form. Verification Forms can be collected or submitted at any inspection and objection venue; faxed to (043) 7220242 or e-mailed to info@valueMe.co.za

3. WHAT TO DO IF I AM UNHAPPY ABOUT THE VALUE OF MY PROPERTY?
If you are unhappy about the value of a property reflected in the BCM GV Roll, you are encouraged to LODGE AN OBJECTION in the prescribed way. BCM GV Objection Forms can be COLLECTED at any designated municipal inspection or objection venue; or downloaded from one of the hyperlinks below. There are three types of Objection Forms, i.e. Form A for Residential Properties such as houses; Form B for Non-residential Properties such as businesses; and FORM C for Agricultural Properties such as farms. Kindly complete the applicable Objection Form neatly and legibly, ensuring that it is dated and signed. An individual objection form must be completed per property.
Completed Objection Forms MUST be submitted in person at any of the following designated municipal Objection Venues:
* East London: Munifin Centre, cnr Oxford and North Street
* King William's Town: King William's Town Municipal Office, Civic Centre, Ayliff Street
* Beacon Bay: Beacon Bay Branch Office, Civic Centre, Sherwood Drive
* Mdantsane: Zone 3, Rent Office
* Bhisho: Bhisho Municipal Office, Lennox Sebe Drive
* Mdantsane: Zone 11 Rent Office
* Gonubie: Gonubie Branch Office, 81 Main Road
BCM GV Project Personnel will be available at all Objection Venues to assist objectors complete their objection forms. After verifying that the Objection Form submitted is complete, dated and signed with any relevant appendices attached; the Objection Form will be bar coded. Objectors must ensure that a date and time stamped receipt confirming that the Objection Form has been submitted, is received.
